"A true work of art is but a shadow of the Divine Beauty it portrays." -Michelangelo Buonarroti.

 

I read this quote a long time ago.  Is it true or did I misread it? I'm not sure, but those words are what guide me in my work. My goal as an artist is to show Beauty, to bring the transcendent to the viewer. Even though, my media varies and so does the subject, from photographs of grand churches to comic books. My goal is the same, to bring Beauty and inspire the viewer.
